The Heart of Cuivre
Cuivre (pronounced "kweevr") is named after our beloved dog, Copper—a sweet, gentle hound dog who was the heart of our family. His warm copper-colored coat reflected his loving spirit, and though he passed away a few years ago, his memory inspires everything we do.
Copper taught us about unconditional love, patience, and finding joy in simple moments. He would sit quietly by our side, content in our presence, never rushing but always there with his gentle warmth. This is the spirit we bring to our baking—patient, loving, and present.
In his honor, Cuivre is a proudly dog-friendly café. We welcome your furry family members with the same warmth Copper showed to everyone he met. Because we believe that the best moments in life are the ones shared with those we love—whether they have two legs or four.
