Storage & Reheating

Croissants & Viennoiserie

Storage:

Store at room temperature in a paper bag or bread box. Avoid plastic bags as they make the crust soggy.

Best within: 1-2 days

Reheating:

  • • Oven: 300°F for 3-5 minutes
  • • Toaster oven: 300°F for 2-3 minutes
  • • Avoid microwaving (makes them soggy)

Tarts & Pâtisserie

Storage:

Items with fresh fruit or cream must be refrigerated. Others can be stored at room temperature.

Best within: 1-3 days (varies by item)

Serving:

  • • Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before serving
  • • Serve at room temperature for best flavor
  • • No reheating needed

Macarons

Storage:

Store in airtight container in refrigerator. Can be frozen for up to 1 month.

Best within: 5-7 days refrigerated

Serving:

  • • Let come to room temperature (15-20 minutes)
  • • Actually improve in flavor after 24 hours
  • • Store individual flavors separately to prevent flavor transfer

Gift Boxes

Mixed Items:

Follow storage instructions for the most perishable item in the box. When in doubt, refrigerate.

Regular Orders:

Rush Orders:

  • • Same-day: Limited selection, call by 10am

  • • $10 rush fee applies

Special Circumstances

Holiday Schedule:

Extended lead times during busy periods (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day). Holiday schedule posted 4 weeks in advance.

Weather Policy:

If farmers market is cancelled due to weather, we'll contact you about pickup alternatives. Orders can be held until the following week with proper storage.

Large Orders:

Orders over $200 or 50+ items require 1 week notice. We can arrange special pickup times or delivery for large orders.

Corporate Orders:

Weekly or monthly standing orders available. Volume pricing and delivery options for offices and businesses.

Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation Timeline:

  • • 48+ hours before pickup: Full refund
  • • 24-48 hours: 50% refund or credit
  • • Less than 24 hours: No refund, but we'll try to find a solution

Emergency situations: We understand life happens. Contact us directly and we'll work with you on a case-by-case basis.

Payment & Pricing

Price changes: Prices are locked when order is placed. Seasonal ingredients may affect availability but not pricing.

Dog-Friendly Café

Are dogs welcome at Cuivre?

Absolutely! In honor of our beloved Copper, we are proudly dog-friendly. Your furry family members are welcome to join you in our café, and we're always happy to provide fresh water and gentle pets for our four-legged customers.

Any guidelines for bringing my dog?

We ask that dogs remain leashed and well-behaved around other customers. If your pup gets excited around food (we understand!), we're happy to provide a quiet corner spot where they can relax while you enjoy your pastries.

Do you have any dog treats?

While we specialize in treats for humans, we keep fresh water bowls available and lots of love to share. Many of our regular canine customers have become beloved members of our extended Cuivre family!

Tell me about Copper

Copper was our sweet hound dog whose warm spirit inspired our café's name and welcoming atmosphere. Though he passed away a few years ago, his legacy of unconditional love and joy lives on in our dog-friendly space. Every pup that visits reminds us of him.
